Internships
The AG Rugby Internship Program is the start for entry-level and future talent. We are focused on identifying, developing, and nurturing top performers through our internship program. During our internship program, students will gain exposure across our business while making lifelong connections and being exposed to the world of rugby.
The AG Rugby Internship Program is a learning opportunity for junior/senior undergraduate and graduate students that allows participants to contribute to the success of AG Rugby while gaining a behind-the-scenes learning experience.
Interns will work within specific departments and gain exposure to the business of professional rugby.
Applicant placement within an AG Rugby’s Departments is based on the candidate’s interest, experience, and academic achievement. All positions are located at the AG Rugby office in Round Rock, Texas.
This internship does not guarantee employment with AG Rugby upon completion.

GENERAL
All internship positions will be in-person, but schedules will vary based on availability and the supervisor’s schedules. Interns will be paid for working match days throughout the season.
COMPETENCIES

- Work collaboratively with other interns and staff on office-wide projects as needed
- Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness
- Adapt to changes in the work environment
- Consistently arrive on time with a professional appearance
- Attend all AG Rugby home matches (pre-season, regular season, and post-season)
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to work in a team environment and handle several projects simultaneously
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, adaptable, and dependable
- Excellent customer service skills, written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills
Applicants are eligible to receive academic credit for the internship
Dates: January 2022 – June 2022 (with circumstances permitting)
Location: AG Rugby Office, Round Rock, TX & Bold Stadium at Circuit of the Americas
Time Requirement: 20-30 hours/week, including nights, weekends, and game days

TICKETING
- Prospecting for potential membership and group sales
- Assist with creative marketing ideas
- Help coordinate hospitality areas for matchdays
- Assistance within in-/out-bound phone traffic related to sales and ticketing
- Other duties as assigned
GAMEDAY AND EVENT OPERATIONS
- Assist in the development of match themes and game-day experiences
- Help with scheduling and onsite activations, and in-stadium promotions
- Monitor and engage with suppliers and vendors
- Assist in developing weekly match day emails, match day run orders
- Assist with event planning and ability to attend events
SOCIAL MEDIA AND DIGITAL CONTENT
- Assist in the creation and development of content to distribute each week across all social media platforms
- Help with scheduling and implementing a monthly, weekly, daily social media calendar.
- Monitor and engage communication with fans across all social media platforms in real-time
- Assist in developing and updating website content
ENTERTAINMENT SERVICES
- Assist in scheduling 512 Crew appearances, gameday bands and musicians, and other entertainment services
- Create timelines for event logistics
- Work closely with social media team to conceptualize and execute content for 512 Crew social media
- Assist with all entertainment operations in the office and on match days
MASCOT
- Work closely with Entertainment team and Mascot to coordinate mascot’s schedule
- Ensure all in-game elements involving the mascot are executed properly
- Assist with the conceptualization of new skits, stunts, as well as other innovative ideas to enhance game presentation, team events and community appearances
- Assist with prop and costume production, care, laundering and maintenance
- Work closely with social media team to conceptualize and execute content for AG Rugby’s mascot social media channels
TEAM MANAGEMENT
- Assist with team logistics – Flights, Hotels, Busses/Vans and Meals
- Coordinate player schedules/media engagements/living arrangements
- Build team weekly schedule
- Order/distribute team kit and equipment
- Coordinate gameday movements with production and team
