AG Selects Team For ‘Rock of AGs’ Clash With RugbyATL

AUSTIN, TX (April 16, 2021) - This Saturday the AGs take on Eastern conference foe RugbyATL at home at 7pm. It’s ‘Rock of AGs’ Night at Bold Stadium so come out ready for some great hits on the field and on the speaker system!

AG Nation is looking forward to plenty of pre-match activities. Gates open at 5:30, the Youth Flag Rugby League kicks off at 5:45 and local rockstar Emily Wolfe opens the show at 6:00.

Head Coach Sam Harris and the AGs are looking to make history Saturday night. “We’re on a nice two-game win streak here and we’re looking to do something no Austin team has ever done and that’s win three in a row,” says Harris. “Atlanta is a rapid team; they’re so quick to the ruck and we pride ourselves on our defense, so that’ll be the test Saturday night.”

Isaac Ross and Robbie Coetzee each make their AG Debut, each getting the start versus Atlanta. Former New Zealand All Blacks lock, Isaac Ross is sitting up in the second row and Coetzee the Super Rugby transplant takes the hooker spot.
