AG Selects Team For Karbach Texas Cup

AUSTIN, TX (April 2, 2021) - This Sunday the AGs take on State-rival Houston Sabercats at home at Bold Stadium at 7pm. AG Nation is looking forward to plenty of pre-match activities. Gates open at 5:30, the Easter Egg Hunt kicks off at 5:45 and local country music sensation Rob Baird opens the show at 6:00.

The AGs beat the Sabercats on their home pitch last season in the inaugural Texas Cup and took home the prized trophy. That match was the final match of the truncated 2020 season. Now, the Sabercats come to Austin to avenge the loss. Karbach Brewing has gotten behind the rivalry and has become official craft beer sponsors for both the Texas Clubs and the Texas Cup!

Head Coach Sam Harris says, “This rivalry is important to us and our fans, and our guys are up for it. We have to put on an 80-minute performance against these guys and bring home the cup .”
