AG Fan of The Match: UPS Driver Daniel AKA ZZ Top!

At every AG home match our own, Knoxie goes on a hunt for Fan of the Match!

This Saturday Night’s choice was a tough one for Knoxie because the AG home crowd was ROCKIN’ on ‘Rock of AGs’ Night. Fans that dressed up as 80s Rockstars got into the match free and the best costumes competed for $500 at the halftime costume contest!

While University of Texas Cheerleader Max (dressed as Gene Simmons) won the Costume Contest AND musical chairs; he didn’t come away with Fan of The Match but he did he come away with a prize of $500. Was this Knoxie’s biggest snub for fan of the match to date?? Maybe.But Knoxie found one fan that got loudest for the AGs, a guy that dug deep in the closet to costume-up at ‘Rock of AGs’ and boy was he rocking all night long.

UPS Driver, Daniel, drove all the way from Georgetown dressed as ZZ Top and had the crowd’s attention, and the AG’s back from the minute gates opened too long after the match-winning kick was slotted and the fireworks faded. Living up to ZZ Top’s hit song, ‘Sharp Dressed Man’, Daniel’s costume was on point… until he stripped it off to the delight of the home crowd.

That kind of energy is infectious and just the kind of fan showcase Knoxie is looking for in an AG Fan of the Match!
